I wanted an understated card for neighbours down the road, the wife has been battling cancer for several years now and it looks like this could be her last Christmas :-(. The background was originally intended for an underwater scene, it was various blue and white acrylic paints blended on card with babywipes, and glitter and microbeads sprinkled over it. I added green Stickles to the trees in the die-cut houses, and laid the scene behind an aperture cut with TH snowglobe die. Added the sentiment and a gold star.

I think it's a perfect Christmas card for the situation. I do hope your neighbor has a very peaceful and loving Christmas. I think the glitter just adds such elegance to this.
